I want to keep in the habit of having at least one blog a month. I plan to have updates/monthly pictures of our little girl just as I did (after starting late) of Alex. Time is going so fast and it isn’t slowing down at all! It is hard to believe that we have less than 4 month until baby girl is here with us. I went to the doctor on the 12th and things are looking good. The earliest I will be able to schedule the c-section will be Feb 3rd. I have a spot on my back that is still numb from the epidural with Alex, so I am hoping that I won’t go into labor before the date we end up scheduling.
I can’t believe that my little man is 14 months old. He amazes me everyday and some days he drives me up the wall too! He has been fighting me really hard with getting in his car seat but he doesn’t fight going into Aaron’s truck. He has the same seat in both vehicles but he is in the middle in Aaron’s and on the side behind me in my car. We thought he might be fighting me, but he did fight when Aaron tried to put him in too. After getting out in Aaron’s truck, I put him in a couple of times and he did fine so know we know it is something with my car. He was almost on his head the other day from fighting so hard. Needless to say, I don’t feel that great after having to fight him. It kills my back!
We are slowly working on getting stuff ready for out little girl. We are going through Alex’s clothes and pulling out the items that will also work for a girl (almost all of the A&M items, things with airplanes, ect) and putting those things aside for now. We have a lot to do though and it seems like very little time with all we have coming up. We are going to Austin for Aaron to take the SIT test and to hang out with one of my best friends, followed by Aaron hosting his buddy Jimmy’s bachelor party at our house (Alex and I have to get lost for the night), then a weekend break, then Jimmy & Melissa’s wedding, then Thanksgiving, then I have to go to Dallas for work (maybe), followed quickly by Christmas & New Years which puts us about a month out from meeting our little girl! November also has my birthday and December has Aaron’s birthday. We are going to be so busy.
October 15th we headed to College Station for the afternoon so that I could attend one of our good friend’s baby shower! Elisa, Aaron and I all attended A&M together and we were all geography majors. We miss being in the same city as Elisa and Pete and we are so glad that we are able to help them celebrate the upcoming arrival of their little girl. I’m excited that we are having little girls a few months apart! Elisa looked amazing and the shower was great. The cake was awesome! The theme was Alice in Wonderland. Some how I didn’t manage to get a picture of just the two of us. Sadly I had to miss Melissa’s wedding shower which was the same day in Spring at almost the same time.
This past weekend we went to a pumpkin patch. It was on the smaller side but we got Alex a pumpkin for school, took some pictures in our Aggie gear and had a nice time. We are wanting to check out another one near our house that is supposed to be good.

I am really looking forward to the holidays this year and spending time with our families. I wish we all lived closer together! Aaron and I were talking the other day about how two years ago; our Christmas card had just the two of us. Well, depending on when we took our pictures there was three of us but we didn’t know it yet. Last year it was the three of us and this year there will technically be 4 of us in the picture! Man how quickly things can change!
Now for some pictures from this month!
My parents flew in for dinner and to drop some stuff off. Alex got to take his first taxi ride.
He did well! Next time we will go up :)
One night when we went to check on him.
Having fun at the park in College Station with Daddy while Mommy was at a baby shower!
Aaron said he got mad when they went to leave!
Got some cool new shoes
Having fun rocking in the recliner.
He starting standing on his toy. We kept telling him no and moving him but he wouldn't listen. We told him he would fall.......
And he did.
Future daredevil?
Alex and his pumpkin!
Our growing family! Can't wait to have our little girl in the picture next year :)
