My sister-in-law Rachel and my niece Rebekah came to stay with us for our first week home from the hospital. After talking with my mom, we both agreed Rachel was the best person to stay with us for those first few days. She was a HUGE help! She cooked, watched Alex so Aaron and I could try to take a nap, answered any questions I had and helped with breastfeeding. Aaron’s parents watched Cecelia while Rachel was with us, so there wouldn’t be a two year old running around the house as we adjusted to our new life as parents. After Rachel and Rebekah headed home, my mom came and stayed for a couple of days. We appreciated the help so much!
Alex went to his first therapy appointment, made a trip to Winnie to met Aaron’s grandmother, and captured our hearts again and again in his first month on this crazy earth.
